This is the story of my third baby
Nyla Marie
Born at 33 weeks 5 days
by emergency c section.

4 pounds 6.2 ounces (1990 grams)
17 inches (43 cm)

I woke in the night to a "pop" feeling and then a huge gush of water. We rushed to the hospital and while there we found out that I was 5 cm dilated and her feet were presenting first. I was rushed in for an emergency c section right away and my tiny baby was born. She stayed in the NICU for 10 days. She was pretty healthy given her gestational age; she was only on oxygen for a day and then needed to gain weight and learn to eat. She had dropped to 3 pounds 11 ounces by the time she was 5 days old, but then at her discharge at 10 days old, she was back up to 4 pounds 0 ounces. Today she is a happy healthy 16 month old who weighs just 18 pounds and is 28 inches tall.
