Hello!
My baby girl was born under the most amazing circumstances. I was diagnosed with acardiac twins. In order to save my healthy twin, I had to have a special procedure. When the procedure was done, my water broke. I was only 17 weeks pregnant. Thanks to a new medical procedure that uses gelfoam to seal the rupture in the membrane- Hallie is alive and 4 months old now. She is the first baby to be born using this technique. She arrived at 36 weeks. It was a long and hard road, but it worked. Now others need to know about this option.

My goal is to spread the word about this procedure and to let other mother's know that they have options when PROM occurs. I was told to terminate my pregnancy-I want other mother's to know what's available. If you are interested in this story, please contact me at amarine@bellsouth.net. I can provide information about my pregnancy and link you to the doctor who performs the procedure.

Thanks so Much!
Sincerely, Kate Pollard
