Hi,my name is Tracy & I have a prom store.
My first pregnancy was hard(at that time), I had toxima with my son, I spent 4wks in hospital; induced at 32wks. He was born fine no med problems except asthma for couple of years. My son is know 16, 17 in Feb.
I got pregnat by suprise, I thought I had the flu. The doc. said I was pregnant, all I could do was cry & thank God,I could not beleive it, it took some time to sink in more for my husband! My pregnancy was going great. On Thanksgiving my water broke. I thought it was urine because I had gone to the doc 2 1/2wks before & he said it was probably urine because she felt so low. I was admitted at 24wks; ultra sound showed very little water, but she was moving fine & a very strong heart beat. Everyday I was monitered. They contiuned to tell me she was doing wounderful even without water. I knew I had nothing to worry about she was in the best hospital. Gracie,(our Amazing Grace we called her),was born on Christmas Day with our Lord & Savior, but she left us Dec. 26 2001 at 5:15am. Her little lungs were unable to keep her alive. I could not understand how they could keep other babies smaller than her alive but not MY LITTLE GIRL! Gracie was 3lbs 9oz. She has left us & gone to join our Heavenly Father now, but I do know that I will get to hold her again someday. I'm very thankful that I did get to hold her, even for a short time, & I did get pictures of her before she passed.
I want to try again as soon as the doc. says it is ok.
Thank you for all of your stories esspecially the happy ones, they have givin me insight on what prom is.
