PROM at 18 weeks + 2 days. Delivery at 18 weeks + 3 days.

When I was 18 weeks pregnant my water broke at midnight & I was taken to the hospital where they did an ultrasound & found that there was no more amniotic fluid around the baby. We were told to wait & see if the fluid replenished itself & then go from there. The next 24 hours in the hospital were agonizing, just the thought of losing or baby devastated my husband & me . We cried a lot. The next morning I started bleeding & the Dr did another ultrasound & found that the fluid hadn't replenished itself, so we were told to induce labor because of a risk of infection. I delivered John Tyler 3 hours later. We didn't see him but we did have a burial for him. What was the hardest part of the whole ordeal was that I had just started to feel him move & his heartbeat was so strong even up until the end. We miss him so much.
We want to try for another baby but are so scared for this to happen again.
