My water broke at 29 weeks. It happened early afternoon and my twin sons were born early A.M. the next morning. Joseph weighed 2lb 7 oz and Benjamin weighed 3lb 2 oz. They were very tiny and it was touch-and-go for the first couple of days. They got to come home after 9 weeks in the NICU. Mine is a very happy story because they are doing great and don't have any health problems due to the early birth. The doctors told me that PROM happened because I was carrying twins and my body couldn't handle the pressure, etc.
I don't think that is the case.
