I had one patch of bleeding at 5 weeks, and then a Bacteria/yeast infection at 7 weeks. Ultrasounds showing healthy baby at 7, 9 and 11 weeks. CVS at 11 wks 2 days. 6 days later in the middle of the night I woke up with wet underwear. Kept gushing so we went to OB ER. Fluid tested positive for amniotic fluid. We were sent home with instructions to touch base with Dr. in morning to determine course of action. We couldn't get into see our OB, but saw another in her practice. Baby had heartbeat, but no sign of fluid. We were given an unsterile exam, a strep test, antibiotics and an appt to for a high resolution ultrasound in 2 days. At that appt, we were told baby's heart had stopped and I was in active labor. Went back to Dr's where she did an emergency D&E (as when she did a cervical exam, baby was halfway out). I got a fever during procedure and was admitted to hospital for 4 days while on IV antibiotics.

Worst experience of my life!
