By Christine, Mansfield. CT USASuccessful PAP ... induced at 37.5 weeks due to size of baby ... delivered vaginally after 18 hours of labor ... 8 lbs 4 oz & 21 3/4 inches ... two previous pPROM ... 1st pPROM @ 13 weeks terminated at 16 weeks ... 2nd pPROM @ 34 weeks born at 5 lbs 9oz & 19 inches - healthy no NICU - only jaundice and some intial feeding issues (see stories). I believe, whether true or not, that the other two pPROM were somehow related to transvaginal ultrasounds ... the rupture occured exactly 11 days following the ultrasound with both pregnancies. This pregnancy I refused all transvaginal ultrasounds and delivered full-term - had to have my water broken. Obviosuly if I were to have another pregnancy I would also refuse the transvaginal ultrasounds ... I'd rather have a full- term preganacy than test my theory.
. Delivery at 37 weeks + 5 days.
