Just a follow-up to my PROM baby (http://www.kanalen.org/prom/stories.ph p?page=story&showid=669)

After experiencing PROM with DC#1, my Dr. handled PG#2 as follows:

1. Progesterone injections every week from wk 24 to wk34.

2. Cervical U/S at wk 28.

3. Weekly visits from week 30 on; cervical check at week 31.

My Dr. thought I'd make it to full term, but not much past.... I walked around nearly 4cm dilated for 2 weeks before baby#2 was born.

Alex was born at 39 weeks and 1 day after a very short 2.5 hours of L&D. MY WATER HAD TO BE BROKEN!!!! He was 8 lbs and 6 ounces!
