With my second son, Wesley, I was on strict bedrest for 13 weeks before PPROM at 33w 0d. I was admitted and told that since I was contracting they were going to do a repeat c-section that same evening. Wesley was a big 5# 3oz baby who spent 12 days in the NICU on CPAP, a NG feeding tube, photo lights, antibiotics for chorioamnionitis, and temperature regualtion, as well as learning to suck, swallow, and breathe at the same time.
