By Kathryn, Marion, IA USAI was pregnant with my first son, who would later be Cooper, I had a hard pregnancy with PTL and spent 10 weeks on strict bedrest at home. At 33w I went into the hospital with bleeding and then my water broke. I stayed infection free and managed to put of his birth for another two weeks, to 35 weeks, until I started running a very high fever and his heartrate went way to high. They then decided to to an emergency c-section and he was born shortly thereafter. He spent 6 days in the NICU learning how to reulate his temperature, and get antibiotics for chorioamnioitis, and was then able to go home. Today he is a perfect, happy almost three year old!
PROM at 33 weeks + 2 days. Delivery at 35 weeks.
