Well now I begin my heartbreaking story. My husband and I were trying to concieve for almost 1 year. I finally went to a RE and after 5 months and 3 IUI's with Gonal-F I got pregnant with twins. I was sooo happy, I had a pretty uneventful pregnancy until 18 weeks. I was just laying down at home on a Sunday night doing nothing when I got up to use the bathroom and I felt a gush of water with blood. I called an ambulance and I was admitted into the hospital with a high risk of infection and they also told me that a pocket of water on Twin A had ruptured. I was put on strick bed rest with no bathroom privledges and antibiotic IV for 10 days. When they took me off the IV I was okay for two days and then on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 I got a very high fever and was told I had an infection and had to deliver. Little did I know my body was already in labor, needless to say I delivered by daughter Carissa at 11:05 p.m. and my son Anthony at 11:10 p.m. followed by a D&C. They were both born silently. I can't tell you how heart broken I was and still am since everything is pretty fresh only 3 months. The hospital did give me pictures of them along with there foot prints. I think about them everyday when I wake up in the morning and before I go to bed at night.
