PROM at 21 weeks + 2 days. Delivery at 23 weeks + 5 days.

I had a PROM at 21 weeks and 2 days, I thought I had peed the bed. After talking to my family doctor I went to emergency where I was moved to the birthing ward and put on bedrest.

I had cramping and bleeding off and on for 2 weeks, the nurses started to think we might be able to get through this, but at 23 weeks and 5 days we lost the baby's heartbeat. After several tests I was induced and I had a baby boy who we named Trever. He weighed only 1lbs, 1oz but was absolutely beautiful. Initial diagnosis is I got an infection that he was not able to fight off.

We had a small gravesite service for him and I miss him deeply.
