By Kirsti Olson, Prince albert, sask CanadaI was lying in bed early morning at 25 weeks and my water broke with no warning. I had been to the doctor two days before because I felt the baby had moved down but she checked me internally and there was no problem. I wasn´t bleeding or having contractians when they rushed me to the hospital. They said I had GBS, and I said "what is that?" I had never heard of it before.
PROM at 25 weeksDelivery at 26 weeks.

I held off birth for one week, then I got a fever and they induced me. Our baby did wonderfully, but its still hard losing that perfect pregnancy. This was my second pregnancy (no problems in the first). I would like to know if GBS was the contributor and what could be done if I decide to have another baby. They keep telling me GBS didn´t have anything to do with it but I dont know who to believe. I may have had a bladder infection but the tests came back negative. I have alot of unanswered questions
