I had a pretty uneventful pregnancy until around week 32 when I developed a terrible itching... I was diagnosed with cholestasis and put on fetal monitoring until delivery. My doctor told me we would induce labor at 38 weeks, but my water broke in a "gush" at 7:30 am on week 36+1.

Arrived at the hospital at 0 cm and no dilation. I was put on Pitocin right away and labored for approx 12 hours. My daughter was born at 5lbs-5oz- very healty! She made NO sound at birth, which send NICU in to do a very brief check- but all was fine.. Small, but lovely!
