At 23 weeks my "water broke" but i never went into labor and never got an infection. So i was hospitalized for 58 days at loma linda. At 31 weeks (58 days later) i woke up in labor. I delived my beautiful baby boy at 31 weeks 3 lbs 8 ozs and 15 inches long. He was on a ventilator for about 12 hours and then a cpap for another 12 hours and after that was breathing on his own with a little oxygen here and there. Other than a little heart problem, (which he is being monitored for) he is doing extremely well. His heart problem does not seem to bother him, you would'nt even know he had one except for the fact he has a murmur. If need be it is a fixable problem. He was in the NICU for exactly one month which was very hard. He is now one week shy of 3 monthes and is doing very well. While in the hospital for those (never ending 58 days) my husband and i were told so much horrific information and we feel blessed to have come out as good as we have. Our little one is doing great!!! Good luck to you and yours..
