By Stephanie Suddarth, Amelia, Ohio USAThe night before my water broke i had a little pain, but i figured it was normal since they said everything else was normal(pressure in pelvic area, weird pains(not growing ones either), so i didnt go to the hospital. the next morning Sept 21,2004, i got up took my dog out then sat down to watch tv like normal(was not working cause i had 2 threateneds with this pregnancy), my dog was acting wierd, getting in my face and lickin me she wouldnt leave me alone, well my water broke(she knew something was wrong with me and was trying to warn me)a big gush all over the couch and the floor.i called my husband to tkae me to emergency room. i got to hospital, there was nothing they could do, the cord had prolapsed.that whole night and into sept 22 2004 i had to watch my son fade away on the ultra sound monitor and then a few minutes later i gave birth to him at 3:35 a.m.

My Ob doctor never checked my cervix during my prenatal visits and always said "we'll check it next time" next time came it never happened. you would think with all the problems she would have. If i would have had a better doctor Kaiden would probably still be growing inside me right now, instead of an ANGEL. I am never going back to that doctor.
