By Tania, New York, New York USAOn July 16 I was on my way to work feeling great and looking really pregnant..with no warning water began gushing down my leg in a New York City train station..I immediately knew that this was it ..I was too early to deliver...I started crying and made my way to the hospital an I was told the worst news in my life...no amniotic fluid...my water had broke and I had to decide if I wanted to terminate or wait for a couple of weeks to monitor the situation...I wanted this baby so much...but I also knew that I wanted to give my baby the best chance ever to be healthy and happy upon arrival into the world. I was told of all the down sides especially since my baby only weighed 1 lb. I had a history of fibroids...so on July 18 I had a D&E...I am heartbroken about my loss and really could not function for 2 weeks....Last week my friend delivered her baby at 9 months and he was stillborn...I knew her pain but I was also thankful that I did not have that experience..I know that I would not have been able to recover...My husband and I are going to ttc next year...
