I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome at age 18 weeks I started to have a light bleed I went to hospital and they did internal exzamiamantion they said that they think my cervix was a bit on the small side they said I could go home and to come back on Thursday to have a vaginal scan to measure the size of my cervix so I went home but in the evening I started to have a lot of tightens in my abdomen they were coming every 3 to 5 mines so I phoned the hospital and they told me to come back in so I did I had another exzamiamantion and the doc said the same thing as there other doc about my cervix so this time I had to stay in.

The tightens started to stop in the morning the hospital scanned me and the baby was fine they did a vaginal scan to the cervix and found out the measurement of my cervix was small and I will need a steach so the another doc came and said he was not happy so he did a scan on me and said the cervix was not small enough for a steach so he sent me home.

That evening when I was at home I started to have tightens again with pain so I when back to hospital but this time when I got there my waters broke I though that was it for me and my little BJ, I stayed in and I had to have a scan to see how much I lost but to my a maze there was allot of water around the baby but I had to have hole bed rest and to see how my temp is because of infection I had to take antibodecs will that was that then the next morning I lost allot of blood and big clots and my cervix was still close, but the bleeding as stopped, but a week later i started bleeding again alot this time with big clots when i hit 20 weeks I stated to go in to labour well that was it.

I was in labour for 11 hours. I lost alot of blood and my little binnie he was born on the 12 November 2003 at 1.04 am. He was 400g and 25cm long he died when he was born, the hardest thing for me was saying good bye to him. It still hurts alot but I hope to try agan soon.
