By Bonnie Conforti, Greenville, SC USAAt 6 AM on a Wednesday morning warm water was running over my legs. Thinking I was dreaming that I had to go to the bathroom I thought that was what I was doing right there in bed but then I realized that I couldn't stop it and it continued to flow--not just a leak, a complete break.
PROM at 26 weeks + 3 days. Delivery at 29 weeks.

I entered the hospital that AM and was checked for dilation and was administered steroids for the baby's lungs. At that point I was put on hospital bedrest and stayed there for two and 1/2 weeks and delivered spontaneously (no induction) at 29 weeks.
Baby came out crying and if 3 pounds can be healthy he was. He never needed a ventilator and was in the hospital exactly 1 month and a year old he weighed 20 pounds. I give the NICU a lot of credit and my OB as well but my faith directs me to look at God and know that he was in control and all went so well because of the miracle he chose to perform.
