By Jenny Tiernan, St Cloud, MN USAAt 25 weeks, my hubby and I were working on the baby's room all day. My back hurt, and I assumed it was from painting and being active all day. We didn't get to bed until midnight that Saturday night. At 2am, I woke up to go to the bathroom and my water broke. We went to the hospital and the scan revealed that my baby was already coming out and he was feet first. I had an emergency c-section. They worked on him for a long time. They were able to revive him. He spent 104 days in the NICU. He had very underdeveloped lungs and a variety of other problems related to prematurity. He had a very rough 2 years at the beginning of his life, but he is now almost 5 and thriving.
