By Debbie, Alabama USAI started having back pain the night before. I went to the doctor the next day. He checked me and found I had a urinary tract infection. He also said I had bulging membranes and he didn't think I would carry the baby. But he was gonna send me to the hospital and try to stop the labor by doing a cerclage on my cervix. The next day they did the cerclage and everything seemed to be going good. Then about 3 days later when they were gonna send me home my water broke.
PROM at 18 weeksDelivery at 18 weeks.

They did an ultrasound to see how much fluid was left and the found hardly none at all. They said there was nothing else they could do. So they sent me down to labor and Delivery and induced labor. About 6 hours later I had a little boy who weighed 8 ounces and was 9.25 inches long. We think he was still alive when he was born but he died right after. We named him Joseph Alexander.
