By Kristy, Slidell, La USAI am writing this story to tell other readers to keep their faith focused on the Lord during the time PROM occurs to the end of your pregnancy. This site was really comforting to me while I was on bed rest. I have two beautiful children with no complications during pregnancy or labor with both of them. At 17 weeks, i felt a small gush of fluid and was told it was probably urine being my third pregnancy. Later that night I woke up with more fluid leaking and went to the ER and it was confirmed amnio. fluid. My doctor told us that the medical field suggest that we should induce but this was not an option for my husband and me. I was sent home and put on bed rest. I had ultrasounds done every two weeks and my fluid level remain around 6.3. Our baby was growing on schedule and I felt him kicking all the time. On Jan.2,2002, at 25 weeks I awoke with mild cramping and before I knew it was in the hospital having an emergency c- section and our beautiful baby boy,Jonah,(1lbs.8oz.) went home to our Heavenly Father and I stayed in the hospital for 7 days fighting an infection. We miss our son but The Lord has been gracious to us. Thanks for all the stories and God Bless! Love in Christ, Kristy
