By Ann, tucson usaWhen I was 18 weeks pregnant my water broke at midnight & I was taken to the hospital where they did an ultrasound & found that there was no more amniotic fluid around the baby. We were told to wait & see if the fluid replenished itself & then go from there. The next 24 hours in the hospital were agonizing, just the thought of losing or baby devastated my husband & me . We cried a lot. The next morning I started bleeding & the Dr did another ultrasound & found that the fluid hadn't replenished itself, so we were told to induce labor because of a risk of infection. I delivered John Tyler 3 hours later. We didn't see him but we did have a burial for him. What was the hardest part of the whole ordeal was that I had just started to feel him move & his heartbeat was so strong even up until the end. We miss him so much.
PROM at 18 weeks + 2 days. Delivery at 18 weeks + 3 days.
