When I was having my fifth baby I had a lot of problems I went into so called premature labor twice during the pregnancy. Prior to that I had one C- section and 3 vaginal births. My doctors told me that there was no chance that I would have my baby early and that I should not worry. Well on September 28,2000 my water broke a whole 8 weeks early. I was hospitilized and on antibiotics (even though I didn't have an infection) for almost a week before they decided to induce me. They took me to an birthing suite and started me on pitocin. After almost ten hours on the pitocin and an epidural they did an ultrasound and determined that my baby was breech and a c-section would be performed. My son Ahmiel Cortez Brown was born at 32 weeks and weighing 4lbs and 10 oz. He was in the NICU for 8 days before I took him home.
