My water broke at 33 weeks. My son was delivered at 33 weeks and 5 days. I was given several steriod shots to help mature his lungs. Keith was born weighing 6 lbs. 2 oz. He spent 3 weeks in The NICU at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. He required oxygen at birth and remained on oxygen for 1 week. He had apnea's and bradycardia's and came home on a heart monitor. He also needed help learning to eat and developed jaundice. Today Keith is a healthy 5 year old with no lasting problems.
