This story is not actually about me, its
about my friend!
who is at this moment in a labour room,
in a nearby hospital.
I was told yesterday that she had
'prom', and initially i came onto this
site to find some information for her,
prognosis etc, i was sat here reading
some of the many stories when her sister
rang me with the sad news.
She has just given birth to a little
still born boy, the sadness i feel for
her is overwhelming, i cannot begin to
imagine how she is feeling knowing she
has lost her most wanted child.
I have five healthy children, i do not
know what it is like, but it has made me
see how lucky i am.
I am told she feels empty, like
something is missing, but she intends to
hold him and make arrangements for a
cremation, and she wanted me to know
that he was very long with lots of hair,
i think these memories will help her
grieve maybe.
So i am dedicating this story to my
friend, and her little boy Luke Edmund,
who may not with us, but will always be
in our hearts
